Board of Directors Responsibilities
What Current directors Say about serving on our Board
“I first joined the Board in 2000 to boost my resume and add to my financial knowledge and background. The plan was to only serve for one 3-year term. Here I am over 20 years later and still on the Board!!! It's been a wonderful, interesting, and educational experience. I've truly enjoyed participating in the management of the credit union, the challenges, and the growth we've sustained over the years. Consider joining us, the rewards are worth it!” -Kim Stawicki, Chairperson, Board of Directors, 2000-present
“I found the opportunity to serve the Pheple Board by chance 11 years ago and felt it was an excellent opportunity to give back in whatever way possible and improve my financial acumen as a young professional for my current career path. I had known for years how much Pheple cared for their members, supporting my parents in several instances over the years, and felt any means to give back to other members and support the community is the least I could do to pay back. So far, it’s been an extremely exciting, challenging, and rewarding experience, one that I appreciate for the growth in my personal and professional career. The satisfaction knowing that we’re cultivating a positive influence within the community with a variety of programs by giving back and supporting future leaders with financial literacy, to me, is one that anyone with a sense of ownership and hunger for more can quickly embrace and bring their ideas to the group. I highly encourage anyone who wants to support Pheple to continue on its rewarding path of changing the way we think of banking, and fostering growth in our community, with their ideas, background, and passion!” -Andrew Reese, Board Member, 2015-present
