To celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day on February 17, we randomly gifted folks who came into our branches with gift cards to local restaurants Rocco's Pizzeria, Italian Village Pizza Greensburg, and Warrior Pizza. Hopefully some delicious pizza helped brighten up a dreary Friday!
Our Community Relations team also performed #RandomActsofKindness all over our community! We took supplies to SPHS’s Welcome Home Center and the All But Furgotten Animal Rescue. We also visited local Dunkin’, GetGo, and Aldi stores and treated folks to coffee, gas, and groceries.

On February 17, we held a Mini Reality Fair with Penn Trafford 8th grade students. After choosing a future profession, the students had to complete a budget and account for things like housing, transportation, taxes, student loans, utilities, entertainment, food, and more. After taking a spin on the ”Wheel of Reality” where they could experience unexpected expenses or income like a laptop repair or a work bonus, they added up their budgets to see how they did. This is a great way to get students to start thinking about the future and all the decisions that are necessary when choosing a career and starting out on their own.
We want to thank Trafford Middle School for welcoming us, and all of the students and teachers for being so engaged and making this event a great experience!
